ok so:

- the oboe or whatever this instrument is at the very beginning
- yocheved’s part in hebrew
- her counterpoint on “if He will - deliver uuuuus” while the chorus starts again
- “river, oh river, flow gently for me” basically all the second part of the river lullaby
- the orchestra part with the hippos and the crocodiles and the boats, you know that feeling when you wish you were able to sing all the parts at the same time
- the slowing down of the melody when the basket arrives at the palace
- MIRIAM’S PART, especially “grow baby brother, come back some day, come and deliver us too”
- the orchestra while tuya says “come ramses, we shall show pharaoh your new baby brother.. moses”, especially her voice in the french version, it’s so warm and i can hear it even in the studio version i LOVE HER
- the fact that the next “deliver us” overlaps with this peaceful and intimate scene happening within the house of the oppressors
- the rhythm in “send a shepherd to shepherd us”
- the harmonies in all the ending
- yocheved’s voice being the last one we hear
- all of this being only the opening and the rest of the film never disappointing
